Why Perfume Oil Lasts Longer Than Spray
If you’ve ever bought a designer fragrance spray, only to find it fades
after 4 hours, you’re not alone. The difference comes down to format.
Spray fragrances are typically 5–15% fragrance concentration diluted
in alcohol. Alcohol evaporates quickly, that’s what causes the “spray”
effect, so your fragrance goes with it.
Perfume oils, by contrast, are pure concentrated fragrance with no
alcohol. There’s no vehicle for the scent to escape on; it sits on your
skin and fabric, developing and lasting for hours.

Every fragrance in our collection is a pure perfume oil, 100% alcohol-free.
We don’t use alcohol as a shortcut or to “stretch” the fragrance further.
Pure oil is more expensive and more difficult to work with, but it’s the
only format that delivers the longevity our customers expect.
How Long Do Our Oils Last?
Our fragrance oils last 11–12 hours on skin and up to 2 days on clothing.

How to Apply Perfume Oil for Maximum Longevity
Use pulse points: wrists, neck, behind ears, inner elbows.
Heat helps the fragrance develop.
Less is more: a small dab goes a long way. Start small; you can
always reapply.
Press, don’t rub: pressing perfume oil into the skin preserves the
scent; rubbing breaks down the top notes.
Layer on clean skin: apply to freshly washed skin or lightly
moisturised skin for the best wear.

will carry you through a full day and into the evening.

Slightly. Warmer climates and skin with higher natural oils will help
extend longevity. Dry skin may see slightly shorter wear, but the oil
format still outperforms alcohol-based sprays significantly.
Can I apply perfume oil over moisturiser or lotion?
Yes, but layering it over fragrance-free lotion helps extend longevity
even further by giving the oil a “base” to sit on.
